Responsible Gambling at GGC99

GGC99 believes that gambling should always be an enjoyable, leisure activity — never a source of financial stress or emotional harm. This page sets out everything you need to know about playing safely, using our player-protection tools, and finding support if things stop feeling fun.

Gambling Is Entertainment, Not a Financial Plan

GGC99's core principle: Every feature we build, every policy we set, and every support tool we provide starts with one question — does this help our players enjoy GGC99 safely and sustainably?

For millions of people across Malaysia — from Kuala Lumpur to Johor Bahru, Penang to Shah Alam — online casino games and sports betting on events like the EPL, Liga Super Malaysia, and UFC are a popular, legal form of entertainment. Most people who gamble do so recreationally, spend within their means, and walk away unaffected.

A small but meaningful minority, however, can develop patterns that cause harm. Problem gambling can damage finances, relationships, mental health and career prospects. GGC99 takes that seriously. We have built a set of practical tools — deposit limits, loss limits, session controls, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion — because we would rather keep a player safe than keep them betting beyond their comfort level.

Healthy Gambling: What It Looks Like

Responsible gambling means setting clear personal boundaries before you start — knowing your budget, knowing your time, and being honest with yourself about whether you are meeting those limits. Consider the following as markers of a healthy gambling relationship:

  • You gamble with money you have specifically set aside for entertainment, not rent or food money.
  • Losing a bet does not compel you to immediately deposit again to chase the loss.
  • You can stop at a preset time or spend limit without feeling frustrated or anxious.
  • Gambling is one of several ways you enjoy your leisure time — not the only one.
  • The people in your household are aware of your gambling, at least in general terms.
  • You do not borrow money, use credit, or sell assets to fund gambling activity.
  • You treat wins as a pleasant bonus, not an expected income source.
Remember: All casino games and sports betting carry an inherent house edge or margin. No betting strategy guarantees a profit over time. Only gamble amounts you are genuinely comfortable losing.

Your GGC99 Responsible Gambling Toolkit

All six tools below are available in your GGC99 account settings. They are free, take effect promptly, and can be adjusted — or made permanent — at any time.

POPULAR

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum amount you can deposit into your GGC99 account daily, weekly or monthly. Once you reach the cap, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. Lowering your limit takes effect immediately; raising it requires a 24-hour cooling-off period.

Loss Limits

Define the maximum net loss you are willing to accept over a set period. When you hit that threshold, further real-money wagers are paused until the window expires. Loss limits are one of the most effective ways to prevent a bad run from escalating beyond your comfort zone.

NEW

Session Time Limits

Set a maximum duration for each gambling session. GGC99 will display a reality-check notification when you approach your limit and will automatically log you out if the limit is reached. This helps prevent unintended extended sessions that often correlate with impulsive decisions.

Cooling-Off Period

Take a short break from GGC99 — for 24 hours, 72 hours, or up to 30 days — without permanently closing your account. During a cooling-off period, you cannot deposit, bet, or access casino games. This is ideal if you feel your gambling habits becoming less comfortable.

IMPORTANT

Self-Exclusion

Request a temporary or permanent self-exclusion to block your access to GGC99 entirely. Exclusion periods range from six months to five years, or can be made permanent. Self-exclusion requests are processed within hours. Once active, exclusions cannot be reversed before the selected period expires.

Reality Check Reminders

Enable periodic on-screen summaries of your session duration, total staked, and net balance change. Reality checks bring you back to the present, helping you make deliberate decisions rather than playing on autopilot. They can be set to appear every 30, 60 or 90 minutes.

Is Your Gambling Becoming a Problem?

Problem gambling rarely appears overnight. It typically develops gradually, and the warning signs can be easy to rationalise. The checklist to the right lists common indicators. If three or more apply to you, we strongly encourage you to use our self-exclusion tool or contact a professional support service.

You are not alone. Problem gambling affects people of all backgrounds, incomes and levels of gambling experience. Seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

You spend more time or money gambling than you originally planned.

You chase losses by depositing again immediately after a losing session.

Gambling feels like a way to escape stress, anxiety or personal problems.

You hide your gambling activity from family members or close friends.

You have borrowed money or sold belongings to fund gambling.

You feel restless, irritable or anxious when trying to reduce or stop gambling.

Gambling is affecting your work, studies, or family responsibilities.

You have tried to stop or cut back on gambling but found it very difficult.

Winning or losing large amounts triggers strong emotional highs or lows.

You have neglected meals, sleep, or personal health because of gambling sessions.

Reflect on Your Gambling Habits

Ask yourself these questions honestly. They are not a clinical diagnosis — just a prompt to reflect.

Five Questions Worth Asking

In the past month, have you gambled with money originally intended for bills, groceries, or household expenses?
Have you ever deposited again immediately after a loss, hoping to recover what you just spent?
Do you feel more anxious, irritable, or down on days when you cannot gamble?
Has someone close to you — a partner, parent, or friend — expressed concern about how much you gamble?
Have you gambled longer or staked more than you intended during a session in the last 30 days?
If you answered yes to two or more questions, consider activating a deposit limit or cooling-off period in your GGC99 account, or speaking with one of the support organisations listed below.

How to Set Your Limits on GGC99

01

Log in and go to Account Settings

Navigate to your account dashboard. The "Responsible Gambling" section is visible in the main account menu, clearly labelled and accessible without contacting support.

02

Choose the tool that suits your needs

Select from deposit limits, loss limits, session time limits, cooling-off, or self-exclusion. You can apply more than one tool simultaneously — for example, a weekly deposit limit combined with a 60-minute session reminder.

03

Enter your preferred amount or duration

For deposit and loss limits, enter a MYR (RM) figure. For time controls, select your preferred interval in minutes or hours. For cooling-off and self-exclusion, choose a period from the available options.

04

Confirm and activate

Protective limits (reducing your existing cap) take effect immediately. Increases to an existing limit require a minimum 24-hour cooling-off period to ensure the change is intentional and considered.

05

Contact support if you need help

If you cannot locate the responsible gambling tools, if you want to apply a self-exclusion urgently, or if you want a limit that is not available in the self-service menu, contact the GGC99 support team via live chat 24/7. Our team handles responsible gambling requests with priority and full confidentiality.
